Ordering & Shipping Info
Everything is handmade to order and due to the natural qualities of each piece, what you receive will not look exactly like the picture. In addition, not all colors appear the same on all monitors.  If this sounds horrifying to you, please email me before you order!
Items are usually shipped within 2-3 weeks.  This shipping time will vary due to various reasons. If you need it asap, please email me to see if I am able to meet your request!
Each item you order will come in its own jewelry bag/envelope via USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail with in the US.  Upon shipment, you will receive a delivery confirmation. 
Currently, any orders outside of the US need to be requested via email due to different customs and shipping methods.
Do you accept custom orders?

Always! This is a major portion of Be You Jewelry and take pride on all of the one of a kind pieces that are created.  Chain lengths can all vary, special disc sizes can be requested.  Are you in love with a certain design stamp and don’t see that I have it, request it and I will see what I can do. I don’t have every single option readily available, but that doesn’t mean I can’t see if I can get you what you want.

Can you stamp on the back of the jewelry?

I am not able to stamp on the back of the jewelry because the indent it would make would show through on the front of the pendant. 

I live in Phoenx, can I come over and see your jewelry in person? Can I pick my order up instead of shipping it?
Of course! You can catch me at local artisans markets and see my jewelry, so make sure to check out my upcoming shows. Please send me an email to inquire about picking up an order at a market.


What is gold-filled?

Gold-filled materials are much more economical and practical than solid 14K gold, and display the rich look of gold at a fraction of the cost. They are not filled with gold as the name suggests, but rather a thick layer of gold is permanently bonded to an underlying metal, such as brass or sterling silver. They should not be mistaken for gold-plated since they have 100 times more gold than plate - in fact; they are 20% 14K gold by weight. Under normal wear, gold-filled materials will never peel, flake, or wear off and can be treasured for generations.
Gold filled does not tarnish or "rub off". However, on some of my pieces there is a place where it has been soldered and this will occasionally darken due to wear and weather.  Simply buff the dark spot with a jewelry polishing cloth or clean it with a liquid jewelry cleaner to shine it back up again.



How do I care for the jewelry?

·       Do not wear your jewelry while swimming, showering, or exercising.  
·       Minimize your jewelry’s exposure to chemicals (hairspray, lotion, perfume, etc.).
·       Avoid storing your jewelry in the bathroom as moisture and humidity dramatically speed up the oxidation process.
·       To store your jewelry, wrap clean and dry items in a soft cloth. Keep your items separate to avoid tangling and scratching. This is how we recommend you travel with your items as well. 
·       To clean your jewelry, mix mild soap with warm water; swirl the piece in the mixture and gently pat dry with a soft cloth. Polish with a jewelry cloth.
·       We do not recommend using any commercial cleaning solutions as they are powerful and may work well, but if you do not follow instructions properly, they could potentially damage your piece.

Miscellaneous INFO

Return and Exchange Policy: We do not accept any returns and there are no exchanges for custom pieces. Be You Jewelry items are crafted carefully by hand with high-quality materials and inspected before shipping. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we are always glad to exchange it in its original, unused condition, for a different item that is not customizable. A shop credit for the amount you previously spent on your purchased item will go towards your new selection. If you would like to exchange an item, please email with your reason for the exchange. Exchanges are not accepted without prior approval by email. Exchanges must be received within 30 days of original delivery date.  After 30 days, exchanges are not accepted.


In the unlikely event your piece breaks, we will repair it free of charge (less shipping costs) within three months of date of purchase.  After that time, we may have to charge a small fee. All jewelry is guaranteed under normal wear and usage for 3 months from date of purchase. We reserve the right to determine normal wear and usage. If your jewelry is in need of repair after 3 months, we are happy to take care of it for a minimal charge plus shipping and handling. Please email us first to discuss the nature of the repair required. For your protection, please send all repairs insured in a well-padded envelope or box. We cannot be responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged during shipment.

Be You Jewelry respects your concerns about privacy.  When a visitor requests pages from the site, our servers automatically log the browser's domain name, and IP address.  This information is solely collected for statistical purposes and is not used to identify individuals.  In order to track unique visitors, a cookie is sent to the visitor's computer.  This information is collected solely to improve the services offered and statistical purposes and is not used to identify individuals.
