On Thursday, December 3rd, we hosted another unique and fun Make at MADE workshop - this time with LetterCraft! Participants learned how to burn designs into a coaster, an ornament, and a woodblock. The artists taught everyone their technique and trending styles, and everyone went home with their very own wood burning tool to practice with afterwards. It was a beautiful winter night filled with laugher, smiles, and crafting!
LetterCraft is dedicated to making quality reclaimed wood decor. They make handmade signs, walls, furniture, coasters, coat racks, ornaments and more, all out of wood that has been repurposed.
Guests of the workshop worked on burning a flower design onto a wooden coaster. Each one ended up being very personalized and unique!
After working on the coasters, the next activity was to transfer an image onto a woodblock and burn it onto the surface. Everyone’s pieces looked amazing!
